No More Ellen 'Degenerate' Stories There have been at least three articles about Ellen "Degenerate." That is three articles too many. Blame Media for Moral Decay There is a lot of moaning and groaning about the gross immorality that now fills this land and, of course, should be. It's time now that the major load of blame be assigned. Obviously those who bear greatest load of responsibility for this decay is the media. You major in the ridiculous.

All TV media has been hyping the hom*osexual "coming out of the closet" for weeks. Why is this so important? The only reason I can say i is that they're trying to further the hom*osexual agenda. How Much Did Sinatra Pay for Medal? When Frank Sinatra receives a Congressional gold medal, never again will I look upon that medal as anything more than a cheap, Cracker Jack toy. How much did he pay for it? Giving Sinatra a Medal Ridiculous! believe it is absolutely laughable and unbelievable that Frank Sinatra is receiving a Congressional gold medal of honor. All it takes is a good voice and even better connections with Mafia and very, government.

What a shame! What a dark shadow to be upon our government that they would see a these cast, qualifications for receiving such a high award. I find it ridiculous! hom*osexuality Is a Perversion I know this isn't a politically correct thing to say, but regardless of what Ellen, Oprah or anybody else says, hom*osexuality is a perversion. Maybe not illegal, but still a perversion. Will John Gotti Be Medal Recipient? Congratulations to Frank Sinatra for his Congressional honor. When is John Gotti going to get his? Reprint Some of Royko's Columns I was really sorry to hear about the death of Mike Royko.

I hope the Tulsa World will reprint some of his columns. Councilors Should Hear Complaints It's interesting the city councilors are getting tired of citizens stating their opinion at council meetings. Have the councilors forgotten who elected them to those offices? They are there to represent the people of Tulsa. How can you represent the people unless you listen to what their complaints and concerns are? Maybe we need to think about that when we elect new councilors. Public Has a Right to Forum Tulsa City Council has no right to limit or even get rid of the time we have during the council meetings to speak our voice.

The public has a right to say what should go on in Tulsa's government. We need to keep the public forum so we can tell the City Council what the issues and problems are in Tulsa. Put Stop to Nonsense in Texas The man down in Texas who wants to set up a republic is a traitor to our country. Authorities should stop wasting time trying to negotiate and use any force necessary to arrest this lawbreaker. These separatists and armed militias are getting out of hand.

Most people of this country feel it is time to put a stop to this nonsense. Councilors Don't Deserve More Pay When we switched to the city council form of government, it was to make it more accessible to citizens. We voted for low pay and two-year terms to limit the amount of power councilors wield. Recently councilors have come out in favor of longer terms and bigger salaries not when they're unresponsive to the public they want censored and who elected them. U.S.

Needs Tyson Poultry Jobs read in the World today that Tyson Foods want to set up poultry production and processing complexes in China, which will employ 2,000 people. Just maybe people in the United States should stop buying their poultry. We need those jobs. Hogue Should Give Up Everything I can't believe James Hogue has the nerve to ask that his retirement money not be used in repayment to the elderly woman. He should be stripped of everything he has.

Why Is Bosnia Tied to Food Bill? I'd like to know why the funds being allocated for the military operations in Bosnia are attached to the bill for helping the flood-stricken Dakotas and Minnesotans. Why did the Republicans want to attach bills that have nothing whatsoever to do with flood relief so that they can get their bills passed? think it's. just a shame! TCI Inks Deal With C-SPAN WASHINGTON Stung by a customer revolt earlier this year over dropping C-SPAN, the country's largest cable company announced long-term agreement Thursday to carry the public affairs network.

Tele-Communications Inc. President Leo Hindery, in a speech to cable executives here, said the company entered into a 15-year agreement. "About 97 percent of our customers now have access to C-SPAN but only about two-thirds have access to C-SPAN 2," Hindery said. "I am today committing that we will have 100 percent carriage of both within the next years." In Tulsa, TCI currently offers C- SPAN, but not C-SPAN 2. The remarks to the Washington Metropolitan Cable Club drew applause.
